Traffic Generation is the one of the most trending topic among the blogosphere. Bloggers are always looking for some tips to increase traffic to their blog/website. Everyone has their own strategies to generate traffic and I thought to get their secrets out 
Last Day, I wrote a status on my wall in Facebook, about asking bloggers to share their traffic generation tips. Here’s the screenshot of what I posted:
I got a sweet 30 comments on it. A lot of bloggers came ahead and shared their tips with us on traffic generation. So, in this post I would be sharing 13 traffic generation tips that these bloggers disclosed. I am also going to add the name & blog URL of the person who has submitted the point. 1. Guest Posting – Arbaz Khan, Blogs at Techbreach
Guest Posting one of the nice way to generate instant traffic for your blog. Or I would prefer to say: ‘Steal Other People’s Readers’. Yes, you can literally steal the readers. Submit an awesome post on your same niche blogs and people would really be back to your blog to check other awesome articles written by you. Try doing guest blogging and it will help you for sure.

2. Blog Commenting – Sanchit Gupta, Blogs at Signizer
Blog Commenting, no doubt one of the basic tip that everyone out their knows but don’t use it as often. I have personally tested this technique, and believe me it works really smooth. Find your niche related blogs, read their articles and leave a really nice comment that opens up for discussion. Please try to avoid comments like ‘Nice Article’. They are really irritating and add no value. Try to add a valuable comments so that people reading the article are really impressed by you and want to visit your blog.
3. Youtube Videos – Suresh Kumar, Blogs at Softwarebuzzer
Video Blogging, one of the newest & working way to generate traffic. Publishing videos on Youtube and then getting some visits from their is not difficult these days. Video Blogging is the term that is generally used to represent this. People are searching for videos related to almost everything. Create some nice videos related to your niche and share them up. It has been studies as well that images & videos are more frequently shared than text. Try this way and you would not be disappointed.
4. Social Media Promotion – Dilawer Pirzada, Blogs at Guideplease
Promoting your content over social media is also one of the best traffic generation tip. People over social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc are really active and your post can go viral at any moment of time. Create your own blog’s fan page, share posts over it & over other social media platforms, and see the traffic flowing in. Another benefit is that through social media your content can reach to the millions of readers if shared properly.
5. Traffic Generation By Images – Osho Garg, Blogs at Techehow
Optimizing images for your blog is one of the effective ways of traffic generation. People generally ignore to do SEO of the Images, but it is their one of the biggest mistake. Don’t avoid the traffic from images. If images are optimized properly, it can get you a huge amount of traffic. 6. Engagement Marketing – Mairaj Pirzada, Blogs at Guideplease
Engagement Marketing, as it’s name suggests, try to engage more & more people in the name of your blog. Try to always remain in discussion with various ideas like running a let’s follow each other thread, or like I created today to call other people share their tips and many more like this. Try to think out some new ideas, how you can involve people with your blog, giveaways are a really nice way to increase engagement as well. Try it and share what tips you tried.

Traffic from Search Engines is always a priority for bloggers. If your biggest source of traffic is the search engines, then you are at the strongest position. Google closely looks at your post quality and other around 200 on page SEO factors to rank your content in the search engines. Try to learn them and our this post will help you to learn about them. Content is the King. And it will remain the king till the last time. I believe every other way just becomes useless without your website having good quality content. A content which people would like to share on their own, would like to link to it. Try to work on your content and make sure you provide a wow factor in your posts. This works the most, and it is time consuming as well. So, try to spend a couple of hours extra on your posts to see the magic.

RSS Feed Submission Directories is really one of the best traffic generation tips that I always give to my clients. These directories automatically picks up the article title and the meta description from the RSS feeds and place under your blog’s name. If anyone click on them, they redirect to your website, and read the content. Having you RSS feed submitted to somewhat about 5-10 directories would be enough. 10. Helping People in FB Groups – Sandeep Kumar, Blogs at Seobloggerstips
I must say Sandeep Kumar has given a really nice way. People love when someone helps them, and it’s even better when they approach your blog to read more about the content. Helping people get out of their problems seems like you are their hero of the day, and at that very moment they like your fan page, leave a nice comment on your blog and become your loyal reader. 11. Forum Posting – Vignat Vora, Blogs at Webknol
Forum Posting is one of the key points whenever the traffic generation topic is discussed. It works much like helping people in FB groups. But with a slight change, in place of FB groups, now there is a forum. People ask their queries, and try to get them the answers and leave your blog link in the signature. Hopefully, the person would surely visit your blog to have a look at the content. And boom, we got what we wanted traffic. I personally use digital point and website babble forums. 12. Conducting Giveaways – Sai Krishna, Works at Bloggerspeaks
Giveaways is one of the instant traffic generation way. It is one of the best ways of creating buzz around the blogosphere. People really like to participate in the giveaways, and like to invite their friends as well to participate. Try to announce giveaways occasionally, and see the buzz. But try to make the content exceptionally best at the time of giveaways, because people tend to visit that and may stay longer if they love your content.
