Don’t Write For Your Readers

“Always Write For Yourself”

This is one of the best blogging advices that I have got till date. It’s strange, right?

We always hear that write for your readers, and provide value to them. But it’s something different that I am trying to explain here. And hopefully, I will be able to convince you 

You and your readers are human beings – yes they breathe too. So, before hitting the publish button, just think once, if I come across my own article/post would I read it word by word. If the answer comes as a YES, great hit the publish button. But, is somehow the answer is NO/MAYBE, then do fix the content, its presentation and then get over to the publish button.

I blog on blogging niche and I guide people on how to do blogging. So, what I try is to get into their place, and write tutorials/explanations with the thinking that they (readers) are totally new to this concept, and explain it in the easiest possible way. I do assure myself, that if I am stuck with the same issue/problem, this alone article will be able to fix it for me. And that determines my success rate.

Try to do the same. Think yourself as a reader of your blog, and judge your writing before hitting the publish button.
