A Step By Step Guide to Submit Blog To Technorati
1.Creating An Account
The very first thing that we need to do is to Sign – Up For an Account. For that visit Technorati.com and click on ‘Join’ at the right on the navigation bar of the website. Enter all the details required and click on Join at the bottom of the form. After that, you need to activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email.
2. Submit Blog To Technorati
To submit blog to Technorati, open your profile by clicking on your username. At the bottom of your profile, there would be an option saying “My Claimed Blogs”. Enter your blog URL their and click on “Claim”. It will then take you to the Blog Description page. Here, you need to enter the details about your blog like Site Description, Feed Address, Site Categories and much more.
3. Claim Status
After you submit your form, it will redirect you to your claim status. Generally it takes 2 – 5 days to confirm the blog status, but depending upon the applications it may take longer. So, have some patience. Here’s how the Claim Status page looks like:
4. Placing The Token Code
To claim your blog, Technorati ensures that you are author of that blog. So, for that it sends a “Token Code” via Email. You need to place the token code in a new blog post. After that you need to go back to your Technorati account, Your Profile, Check Claim and then you need to click on”Verify Claim Token”.
